Tagi's Hair Design is a full service salon conveniently located in Columbia, Maryland. Our fully trained and professional staff are experts at helping you create a style all your own. We are committed to providing you with exceptional personalized service and treatment. We help each client to find that style that is perfect for them as well as the products that can keep them looking great in between appointments.

About Us

Tagi's Hair Design opened its doors over sixteen years ago in Ellicott City, Maryland with a small staff of stylists and manicurists. Tagi Aybar had a simple vision; share our passion with our customers and become a part of the community. Over the next ten years Tagi's Hair Design continued to grow and developed a reputation as one of the best salons in the state.

In 2001 Tagi's Hair Design relocated from it's Ellicott City location to a newer facility in the heart of Columbia. Renovations were completed in record time and the result was an elegant salon that blends right into its neighborhood surroundings. With the move also came an opportunity to reach out to a new service area and be within easy access to the major arteries of Howard County.

Today we are enjoying great success and believe that Tagi's vision for the establishment has been fulfilled. We look forward to sharing our passion with our clients each day and take pride in our work.

Services

As a full service salon we are able to offer many styling services for each of our clients. Our stylists are experts in color applications, highlighting techniques and precision hair cuts. We also offer personal care services including manicure, pedicure and spa treatments. Gift certificates are also available and may be purchased in person at our salon, so give that special someone the gift of beauty and relaxation.

Come meet our friendly staff and experience the quality of service that has made us one of the best salons in the state. Our salon is conveniently located two miles from Downtown Columbia making it easily accessable from all routes crossing through Howard County.

From Downtown Columbia:

Follow Route 175 East to Thunder Hill Road. Turn left onto Thunder Hill Road. Follow all the way down, Tagi's Hair Design is on the left.

From Ellicott City:

Take Route 29 South to Route 108 East. Continue on Route 108 East. Turn right onto Thunder Hill Road. Tagi's Hair Design is 2 blocks down on the right.

From Baltimore and Points North:

Take I-95 South to Route 100 West. Merge onto Route 29 South and exit at Route 108 East. Continue on Route 108 East. Turn right onto Thunder Hill Road. Tagi's Hair Design is 2 blocks down on the right.

From Washington and Points South:

Take I-95 North to Route 32 West. Merge onto Route 29 North and exit at Route 108 East. Continue on Route 108 East. Turn right onto Thunder Hill Road. Tagi's Hair Design is 2 blocks down on right.
